Music Video Review for Deborah Henriksson - Bongo Boy Rock n' Roll TV - 'S6:EP1 CHOSEN' Review by Indie Spoonful.
Deborah Henriksson from Vasteras, Sweden closes the episode with her heart-wrenching song “Breakers’ Roar.” In the video, directed by Matts Nyman, we see Deborah singing in open fields on a beach, the perfect setting for a song that is as moving and expansive as the setting it is sung in. Deborah Henirksson is a breath of fresh air. She has a pure and elegant tone, showcasing her vocal control throughout the song. Accompanied by a big arrangement of strings and percussion, this song will resonate with fans of Celtic and folk music. It is purely delightful.

"Deborah Henriksson’s “Calling” is gorgeous with the Celtic feel that is makes you want to be one with the wind. It is beautiful. This song would make Celtic Woman and Lorenna McKennitt proud. Truly, one of the most beautiful Celtic performances I’ve heard in a while! KUDOS!

Deborah Henriksson
The Heart’s Cry
(DHP records)

"...Deborah Henriksson sings with understatement, for the force of her voice is in the artistic expression, not in vocal strength. Her diction is distinct with simple beauty. She uses her voice like an instrument which is both a loyal subordinate to the songs but which also lifts them to heavenly heights in a clear eloquence of purity, beauty and exquisite expressiveness..."

Real Roots Café - Dutch magazine, December 2012 Review:

“…A very understated, subtle CD with heavenly sounding music…”

Google translation. For original text in Dutch please go to link.

Deborah Hendriksson, The Heart's Cry
Deborah Henrikson, also born in the USA, is a Swedish singer who renamed her music celtic with a New Age twist, very similar to Enya, both in atmosphere and in terms of repertoire. Together with her Swedish producer presents her third album to date, fully incorporated in Sweden, where she lives and works again for some time. The twelve songs on the CD are wonderfully sung, Deborah has a beautiful ethereal voice in the higher regions, and she sings as pure as a babbling mountain stream. The guidance is in Swedish hands and is very subdued. We hear piano, keyboards, guitar, drums / percussion and harmonica / accordion and ethereal background vocals by himself and Deborah Kent Ihren. Among the songs we meet some old friends, such as "My Lagan Love" (to Van Morrison & The Chieftains), "Snow" (Loreena McKennitt), 'Women of Ireland' (Chieftains, Sinead O'Connor, Kate Bush eva) and "A woman's heart" (Eleanor McEvoy). And - not entirely hold in this genre - there are two beautiful music provided poems of Scotland's most famous troubadour, Robert Burns, whose titles speak volumes: "Ae fond kiss" respectively. "My love is like a red, red rose '.
A very understated, subtle CD with heavenly sounding music. Like an angel on earth has settled and our hair clean singing is heard. It's like author Bill Whelan in his song 'The heart's cry ", the title song of the CD, says:" Key to everything is love, warm into a deep desire, passion and desire. "For a very pleasant winter, stay inside, the fireplace and a glass of wine (or - more appropriate - a nice malt whiskey). A Swedish surprise in a Celtic bath
